In this tense thriller, a renegade sniper named Craig shoots an army officer from a distance, then, under orders from a traitor, accepts a new assignment to finish off an ISRO scientist named Abdul Kamaal within 30 days.

The action shifts to Kumily, a quiet hill town, where a PT teacher named Thulasi Raman leads a peaceful life with his son Sethu Raman, his wife, and daughter. The town’s calm routine is mirrored in their family life, even as Sethu works as a librarian to retired Colonel Matthews. Into this setting arrives Nandhini Ramanujan, a kleptomaniac who steals books from the library; after a few tense altercations, the pair find themselves drawn to one another, and the bond between them slowly grows into something more.

Meanwhile, the enigmatic Craig lands in the hill town for reasons that aren’t immediately clear, wandering the streets and taking photographs of Matthews as if cataloging the place from a distance. The story threads together these personal lives with the backdrop of a community tinged with political tensions and unspoken secrets.

As Thulasi Raman voices concerns about Kandhan, a controversial bar owner, a confrontation erupts and Sethu steps in to protect him, beating up the goons in a display of resolve. The aftermath is shocking: Kandhan’s body is recovered from a waterfall, and a ring belonging to Thulasi Raman is found in his hands. The revelation shocks the town and leads to the arrest of Thulasi Raman, setting off a deeper investigation into what really happened and who is behind the larger crime at play.

Facing the mounting questions, Sethu takes on the burden of clearing his father’s name. He resolves to uncover the true killer, venturing beyond the surface of the case to piece together hidden connections and motives, all while balancing his own loyalties, love, and sense of justice in a town where nothing is quite as it seems.
