Gawain and the Green Knight (1991): Cast

During a Yuletide feast at King Arthur’s court, a mysterious knight clad entirely in green issues a bold challenge: any knight who can sever his head may keep the axe stroke, but must endure a year before the blow is returned. While the other knights shrink away, Sir Gawain steps forward, beheads the Green Knight, and is then given a year to live honorably and seek his true home before the promised return of the strike.
