Spoilers ahead

After spending a decade behind bars for a bar fight, Frank T. Wells is released and immediately thrust back into the rough edges of a world he knows well. He reconnects with old acquaintances, hunts down his battered old ’48 Ford pickup, and rents a camper to call home as he slides back into the rodeo circuit, once again guiding a horse named Angel as his faithful partner in the arena. The comeback is less about a clean slate and more about surviving the present, rebuilding a life from the scraps of his past, and proving to himself that the old skills still matter in a world that rarely forgives.
