What Is Foreboding About?
The premise of Foreboding without spoilers.
Miyuki Asakawa confides in her colleague, Etsuko Yamagiwa, claiming a ghost haunts her home. When Etsuko visits, only Miyuki’s father is present, raising concerns about Miyuki’s mental state. They take her to a psychiatric hospital where her husband, Tatsuo, is employed. There, Miyuki is diagnosed with a lack of the concept of "family." Etsuko expresses discomfort with Dr. Jirō Makabe, whom Tatsuo had previously introduced. A growing unease surrounds her husband’s association with the doctor, especially after overhearing a disturbing statement from him.
