What Is Fangs About?
The premise of Fangs without spoilers.
When their car stalls on the way to a party, Ali and Mona knock on the nearest door for help, only to discover they’ve entered the mansion of the legendary Count Dracula. The film riffs on the plot of the cult musical, amplifying camp, horror clichés and 1980s disco beats. Its overt homoeroticism fuels a satirical look at Egypt’s youth unemployment, class conflict and sexual politics.
