What Is Fact About?
The premise of Fact without spoilers.
The film dramatizes a World War II massacre in a Lithuanian village where Nazi troops rounded up more than 100 civilians accused of aiding partisans and burned the houses holding them. Using Russian interrogations of a few survivors, villagers’ testimony and statements from German perpetrators, it gradually reconstructs the atrocity and context.
