Spoilers ahead
Brothers Brian Samuel Davis and Matt Madison Burge invite a small circle of friends—Matt’s girlfriend Dora Denise Williamson and their pals Todd Chris Osborn and Elizabeth Roger Edwards—on a camping trip to their uncle Bob’s cabin in East Texas, setting the scene for a weekend that begins with ordinary camaraderie and quickly veers into something far more unsettling. As they drive along a forest road, Matt swerves after hearing something hit the undercarriage, and the group stops to investigate only to be greeted by a distant, unsettling chorus of loud animal cries. Undeterred, they push forward on foot when a fallen tree blocks the road, leads them to the cabin, and reveals a structure that is dilapidated and weathered by time.
