Enrico Piaggio: Vespa (2019): Cast

In 1945, Enrico Piaggio’s factory lay in ruins, leaving thousands unemployed and facing hardship. Driven by a deep sense of responsibility to his workers and their families, Piaggio sought to create new jobs and revitalize the Italian economy. His vision led to the development of a small, practical, and affordable mode of transportation. To realize this ambitious project, he enlisted the expertise of engineer Corradino D’Ascanio, who drew on his aeronautical experience to design the iconic Vespa scooter, a lasting symbol of Italian ingenuity and design.
