This story explores the erosion of moral and ethical values in relationships and the persistent search for true love. At the center is Mangam Srinivas as Sri, a man who pours his heart—and a substantial ₹3 lakhs—into his bond with Rajini. But Rajini does not share the same depth of feeling, and she runs away with another man, taking the money along. Heartbreak hits hard, and Sri resolves never to fall in love again, growing wary and even disparaging toward women. Watching over these events is Sri’s uncle, M. S. Narayana, Sattiraju, whose presence underscores how one failed romance ripples through family ties and expectations.

In a parallel thread, Shreya [Reshma Rathore] forms a close friendship with Kishore, [Saikumar Pampana], who misreads their bond as romantic love. He becomes possessive and begins harassing her in the name of love. The hurt pushes Shreya to vow she will never be friendly with any man again. Her parents weigh in as well; her mother, [Madhumani], and her father, [Kedar Shankara], disapprove of Shreya’s growing closeness to Sri and warn her to keep her distance, highlighting the pressure of familial judgment on personal choices.

Despite the rough start, Sri and Shreya’s paths cross and their relationship gradually shifts. They start off quarrelling often, but an evolving dynamic begins to form: Sri lies to his landlord, claiming he is married to avoid bachelor-only rental rules, a deception that shocks Shreya into rethinking him. As time passes, their friendship deepens, and Sri becomes protective of Shreya, shielding her from Kishore’s advances.

Yet the shadow of disapproval remains. Rajini’s reappearance in Sri’s life—as if he had found a wife—stirs trouble, and Shreya, overwhelmed by the complexity of the situation, decides to pursue her master’s degree in the United States. The plot thickens as Sri and his friend Sai trail Rajini to an illegal hookah bar, where Sri discovers that the man who eloped with Rajini cheated her out of her money. Sri’s generosity drives him to help Rajini financially, urging her not to play with other people’s emotions.

Meanwhile, Kishore resurfaces with a cruel realization: his supposed friendship with Shreya was merely a ploy to exploit her. When Shreya rejects his advances, he grows more aggressive and tries to coerce her into a relationship. Sri intercedes, stepping in to protect Shreya. Kishore, furious, devises a scheme to separate the couple, using Rajini as a pawn and pulling in friends to attack Sri and Sai. Sri fights back, defeats Kishore, and escapes with Sai, then lays bare the truth to Shreya.

Two years pass, and with the consensus of Shreya’s parents, Sri and Shreya marry, solidifying a union born of trial, forgiveness, and resilience. The film closes with Sai narrating Sri’s life story to producer Tammareddy Bharadwaja, [Tammareddy Bharadwaja], who agrees to transform it into a movie, offering a hopeful ending that frames love as a journey, not a simple destination.

Additionally, a stylish cameo by Anandhi in the “Cell Song” sequence adds a spark of flair to the film’s mood, providing a brief, memorable moment that complements the intertwined journeys of Sri and Shreya.
