The trouble begins with Chezhian, a privileged young man whose wealth and connections shelter him from consequence. He moves through life with impunity, backed by his formidable father, Deivanayagam, a state minister for public works who can manipulate the system to keep Chezhian and his circle safe. As Chezhian’s heart leads him toward Reshma, the only child of Karnataka-based billionaire Shivraj, the romance deepens the web of competing interests. Reshma’s relationship with Chezhian becomes a fuse for a much larger power struggle, and forces swirl around a highway project that Neethirajan, the influential PWD Secretary, has maneuvered into Shivraj’s hands—a deal worth billions that bypasses Deivanayagam. The result is renewed fury from Deivanayagam, who swears revenge.

In a calculated move to tighten his grip, Deivanayagam has Sangayya and his team raid a brothel where Neethirajan is present. Caught red-handed, Neethirajan capitulates to Deivanayagam’s demands and even pleads with Shivraj to share a slice of the deal as a bribe. Shivraj refuses to pay, while Neethirajan resigns from his government post. The revelations sting Sangayya, who realizes he has been used as a pawn in a risky political game, yet his authority is constrained by the police commissioner. The tension escalates as Chezhian and Reshma’s romance becomes a public liability, prompting Deivanayagam to orchestrate a plan that could break both women and men alike. He engineers a scheme to have Chezhian bring Reshma to their home, where she is held captive and the threat of violence looms large. When Reshma arrives with Chezhian, Deivanayagam’s right-hand man, Gopal, urges him to abandon enmity and seize Shivaraj’s assets—20 billion dollars—through marriage of Chezhian and Reshma. The plan succeeds in bringing the couple back to Shivaraj’s house, and Deivanayagam looks set to clinch victory. Reshma’s failed suicide attempt following Shivraj’s refusal to consent only intensifies the hold he has over them.

Meanwhile, Chezhian’s carefree party lifestyle leads him far from his responsibilities, and he disappears after a night out with a model. Sangayya launches an unofficial probe at the commissioner’s behest and uncovers a clue: two of Chezhian’s former classmates have died under suspicious circumstances. The trail points to Easan, an 11th-grade student with a chilling backstory. In a tense confrontation, Sangayya corners Easan in a dilapidated factory and binds him, forcing him to recount what happened. Easan’s tale traces a heartbreakingly personal arc: a government employee father, a mute older sister named Poorani, and a move to Chennai so Poorani can study fashion technology. Poorani’s world is dominated by the affluence and privilege of Chezhian’s circle, and she is subjected to rape at a party by Chezhian and his friend Vinod. Grief and guilt drive Easan to retaliate in the only way he knows—through calculated, relentless revenge.

The tale grows darker as Easan explains how he turned his computer skills to a deadly purpose: altering a patient’s online prescription, causing a fatal medical accident and eliminating one of Chezhian’s cohort. This revelation unfolds just as Deivanayagam and his assistant arrive at the scene, finding Chezhian dead. A brutal clash erupts, and Sangayya must protect himself and Easan from Deivanayagam’s wrath. In a decisive turn, Sangayya shoots and kills Deivanayagam and his assistant, ending their scheme but not the scars left behind by the events.

The film closes with a hard-hitting note of consequence and redemption: Easan is sent to a juvenile reformatory, where Sangayya and his family visit him, recognizing the complex, interwoven fates of vengeance, justice, and the human costs of power.
