Between Mahalaya and Vijayadashami, in north Kolkata, the aristocratic Banedi jewellers Basak family faces a season that tests loyalty, tradition, and the thin line between aid and temptation. Durga, Sohini Sarkar enters the house as a nurse to care for the eldest Basak, a role that pulls her into the daily rhythms and rituals of the family while the festive air swells with ancient expectations.
