Bluey, held in pain, pleads for relief, but Josh’s cruelty knows no bounds. Sean, intent on regaining some control, retrieves a shotgun from Josh and tries to calm the escalating confrontation. Kim, who interprets Sean’s actions as a threat toward Tammi, mistakes the danger and fatally strikes Sean with the propeller of the outboard motor. Realizing her mistake, Kim’s despair pushes her to take her own life by leaping overboard, leaving Josh and Tammi to confront the consequences alone.

With the male threat diminished, Josh and Tammi become the last two aboard the yacht. Josh, fearing exposure and intent on leaving the scene, plans to abandon the yacht and fabricate a tragic accident to return to shore. He readies the tender for departure, while Tammi, clinging to life and the hope of rescue, seizes the last opportunity to end the danger. She knots the mooring rope around Josh’s neck, pulling him toward the sea as the rope tightens and snaps his neck, killing him outright. In the aftermath, Tammi fires a distress flare, signaling that she is still alive and seeking help. She sits on the tender, watching the night sky as the yacht drifts away, a stark testament to a voyage defined by excess, violence, and the fragile line between survival and doom.
