A Jim Henson‑produced parody of film‑noir and gangster movies follows Rowlf, who guides us through 1930s Dog City, a seedy town populated by Muppet dogs. When Ace inherits his Uncle Harry’s saloon, he refuses to pay the protection tax demanded by Bugsy, the bulldog crime boss, thrusting him into a world of bulldog gangsters and terrier molls.
