Jasmine, an ambitious actress-in-training, lands her first film project only to watch it grind to a halt as the producer battles financial issues. Across the city of Hyderabad, Hari—a newcomer from Nizamabad—arrives seeking a place to stay, guided by his friend Ram. Drawn by a striking image in a commercial, he feels the pull of stardom and the possibility of a bigger chance, even before he fully settles in.

As fate threads these lives together, Hari takes up a part-time role as a chess coach at a club, where he forms a budding friendship with Akash. His path crosses Ravi Shankar, Akash’s uncle, along with Ravi’s wife Prameela and Ravi’s daughter Vasudha, a young woman with a keen interest in painting. At a lively party, Hari meets Yasmine, who is Akash’s girlfriend, introducing a new layer of complication to the growing circle. The tension between professional ambition and personal longing intensifies as Hari begins a covert romance with Vasudha, and the two soon embark on a relationship that is both intimate and experimentally dangerous.

Two days later, the police uncover the bodies of Jasmine and her friend in a lake, triggering a police investigation that focuses on Hari. Vasudha and Akash work to shield him, masking the truth to protect the precarious arrangement they have built. Vasudha even persuades Hari to bring Jasmine’s mother to their home, a tense moment that hints at how far the web of secrets has stretched.
