What Is Dead Man’s Hand About?

The premise of Dead Man’s Hand without spoilers.

Jean V., a 40‑year‑old bailiff, is skilled but cold‑hearted. He lives with his wife Nicole, a 35‑year‑old consumer in crisis. To aid his work, he enlists George, a chronic debtor and local folkloric figure, who supplies “little tricks” and rekindles Nicole’s desire to shop. When Jean is paired with police officer Eddy for a seizure round, their clash spirals out of control, pushing Jean to conspire with George in a dark scheme to teach the cop a lesson.
