
In 1848 a wagon train escorted by the Army pushes west across Indian lands, led by scout Davy Crockett, the nephew of the frontiersman. A spy informs the Indians, prompting an early raid. After surviving, the party chooses between two mountain passes; learning one is defended, they take the other, only to be ambushed, hinting the enemy was warned.
