Cosmonauts: How Russia Won the Space Race (2014): Cast

While America's moon landing is often remembered as the defining moment of the space race, this documentary reveals the significant, and often overlooked, contributions of the Soviet cosmonauts. Through rare archival footage and interviews with surviving pioneers, the film recounts the thrilling and sometimes perilous journey of Russia's early leadership in space exploration. It features a compelling account from Alexei Leonov, who recounts his experience during the first spacewalk and the unexpected danger he faced hundreds of miles above the Earth.
