In a desolate, post-apocalyptic world gripped by perpetual winter, a small group of survivors ekes out an existence underground. Unhygienic conditions have made physical contact perilous, leading to the prevalence of masturbation and the creation of simple devices for sexual gratification. Czuperski, who deals in these machines, enters into an agreement with Tania, a woman struggling with addiction. She agrees to be his test subject in exchange for pleasure, but their arrangement soon spirals into an unpredictable and increasingly complicated relationship.
