What Is Conviction: Murder at the Station About?
The premise of Conviction: Murder at the Station without spoilers.
A team of experts examines the case of a man imprisoned for murder, investigating whether new evidence might overturn his conviction. Inside Justice, a charity led by Louise Shorter, provides assistance to prisoners maintaining their innocence. The series follows Louise and her team – criminal lawyers, former police officers, and forensics specialists – as they search for evidence that could present grounds for appeal in the Southampton man’s case, which involves a secret lover. Over 500 people are convicted of murder annually in the UK, but fewer than 1% of verdicts are ever overturned.
