What Is Comeuppance About?

Detective Michael tracks serial killer Sung Ping, who murders a triad on a whim and enjoys the fallout, prompting further killings that alarm local crime families. Reporter Hak adapts the real murders into his crime‑fiction series, only for Ping to use those stories to fuel his next plans, leaving Hak uneasy about his indirect role.
