What Is Clair de Lune About?
The premise of Clair de Lune without spoilers.
“Clair de Lune” was fully animated and scored for Fantasia but cut in early 1940 due to the film’s length. Ink‑and‑paint and Technicolor were finished in February 1942, but the short never screened. In 1946 Disney re‑edited it, adding new music as “Blue Bayou” for Make Mine Music. A nitrate workprint found in 1992 allowed the sequence to be restored.
