In a whimsical garden kingdom populated by anthropomorphic produce, the brave Onion Boy, Cipollino, leads a rebellion against the oppressive fruit royalty. He challenges Prince Lemon and the haughty Lord Tomato, seeking justice for his fellow vegetable townsfolk suffering under their rule.
