Rishi and Jerry are inseparable friends who dream of a fresh start away from their homes. When a family tragedy unfolds with Rishi’s father passing away, a new kind of longing takes root: the wish to inherit what remains. Yet luck doesn’t favor him, because his father signs everything over to an orphanage named “Children’s Park,” run by an older man named Govindan. With the scent of possible wealth pulling at him, Rishi convinces Jerry to take a risky trip toward the orphanage, hoping to uncover a fortune buried in the family’s name.

What they find is far from a treasure chest. The orphanage is non-functional, a shell of its former promise, and the brothers quickly realize that money won’t come easy unless the place is made to function. To turn the wheels, they seek help from Lenin, a local political party worker, and the three of them form an unlikely alliance. Together they embark on a dangerous, improvised mission: they rescue kidnapped children along the road by disguising themselves as the police. The audacious plan gives them a sense of purpose and a taste of power, even as it treads a fine line between legality and mischief.

Money remains a pressing problem, though. With no real funds to care for the orphans, the trio recoils into schemes and schemes again, attempting to woo a powerful political figure named Kora in a bid to secure cash that could keep the orphanage alive, and perhaps buy them a path out of their own troubles. Their improvisations are loud, brash, and sometimes reckless, reflecting both their loyalty to one another and the hunger that drives them.

Into this mix steps Viji, a young woman who arrives with a baby and places the child at the orphanage’s gate. She promises to return the next evening to work as a nanny, adding a new layer of urgency, responsibility, and emotion to the story. Viji’s presence introduces a thread of tenderness amid the schemes, reminding the friends of the stakes beyond their own immediate desires.

As the plot thickens, the characters’ choices pull the narrative into a rich blend of entertainment, tragedy, and comedy.
