Everyone knows the icon; few know the man. The film follows Argentine revolutionary Ernesto 'Che' Guevara as he joins Fidel Castro and a group of Cuban exiles arriving from Mexico in 1956. Over the next two years they rally popular support, build an army, and overthrow the U.S.-backed dictator Fulgencio Batista.
