Vikram Kapoor, a celebrated fashion designer, Neil Nitin Mukesh suffers a night-time accident, and that same night Sarah Brigenza Shama Sikander is found dead in what looks like a suicide. Vikram is paralyzed from the crash and must use a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He returns home after years to live with his father Pratap Kapoor Rajit Kapoor and his stepmother Romila Gul Panag.

Police suspect Sarah was murdered, and Vikram becomes a suspect himself. The accidents are alleged to be orchestrated by Romila, who wants Pratap’s assets with her real daughter Nandini. A flashback reveals that Sarah and Vikram shared a one-night stand; though Sarah was engaged to Jimmy, she wanted to be Vikram’s partner. After being refused, she shot herself. Vikram realizes there would be no witnesses to prove his innocence if Sarah’s death happened at his place, so he moves her body to her house, where it is later found.

In the present, Vikram notices Romila’s ex-boyfriend Narang Kapoor sneaking into his house to meet Romila, implying a shared plan to stage the accidents within the very house that nearly killed him. Jimmy is another suspect, as CCTV shows him fleeing Sarah’s house soon after the gunshot, though he is on the run from the police and parts of the footage are missing. The surviving segment shows Jimmy arriving, learning of the affair between Sarah and Vikram, and fighting with Vikram.

Pratap, Romila and Nandini depart on a cruise, leaving Vikram alone at home. A masked intruder then enters to attack and kill him. Paralyzed Vikram calls his girlfriend Radhika Nair Adah Sharma for help, but the attacker overpowers him. Police Inspector Roy Errol Peter Marks arrives and shoots the masked intruder, revealing that it is Vikram’s father Pratap.

Roy then unveils the truth: Sarah had called Pratap to tell him that she found his gun, which had been in Vikram’s possession. When Pratap arrived, he witnessed Vikram and Jimmy fighting and shot Sarah to frame Vikram; Vikram and Jimmy fled to avoid suspicion.

The twist deepens as it’s revealed that Vikram never truly lost his legs; he and his doctor had planned the handicapped act to avenge his mother’s death. Pratap, in fact, is Vikram’s uncle who killed Vikram’s mother for money and plotted Vikram’s accident to remove a rival. In the end, the layers of deception unfold against a backdrop of envy, revenge, and family politics, leaving Vikram to reckon with a meticulously engineered past and a present that tests his darkest motives and deepest loyalties.
