Based on the true crimes of Dennis L. Rader, known as the BTK killer, the film follows his methodical campaign of binding, torturing and murdering victims over two decades while eluding law enforcement for more than thirty years. All the while he maintained the façade of an ordinary husband, father, security guard and church president.
