The prison is ruled by two powerful inmates, Big Roller, Patrick Tam, and Scar, Justin Cheung Kin-Sing. Life inside the walls moves along a steady cadence until Mak Kin Tin, Adam Pak Tin-Nam, arrives, wrongly accused and thrust into a world where every glance hides suspicion and every step could be lethal.

Kin Tin soon finds himself at the center of Scar’s intimidation, as the veteran inmate hones in on the new arrival. Scar’s bullying drives Kin Tin to retreat, and he is pressured into dropping his appeal as word spreads that he helped destroy the storage unit that held the belongings of Big Roller’s daughter. The truth is more complicated: Kin Tin was framed, a fact that gnaws at him while danger closes in from all sides. The prison’s atmosphere grows tenser, and Kin Tin’s sense of isolation sharpens his resolve to survive.

To secure his life, Kin Tin teams up with his cellmate Ho-ching, Louis Cheung, who can read the room and map out a plan. Together they hatch a meticulous escape, a route that requires careful coordination and daring, and they begin mapping out how to slip through the cracks of the system that keeps them caged. Ho-ching’s practical mind complements Kin Tin’s desperate courage, and they start laying the groundwork for something bigger than mere flight.

Aware that the warden’s watchful eye is a major barrier, Warden Tang, Kenny Wong Tak-Ban, becomes a force they must reckon with. Ho-ching pushes Big Roller to consider helping, spinning a dangerous ruse: he suggests that Big Roller’s daughter might still be alive, a revelation that could tilt the balance of power in their favor. If the top two prisoners see a way out that also serves their interests, they might bend the rules and risk everything for a chance at freedom. The trio—Kin Tin, Ho-ching, and Big Roller—begins to orchestrate a plan that leverages each of their strengths: Kin Tin’s resourcefulness, Ho-ching’s strategic thinking, and Big Roller’s influence.

As the plan takes shape, Scar uncovers the growing conspiracy and, against expectations, chooses to join the effort.
