What Is Backbone About?
The premise of Backbone without spoilers.
An overwhelming odor spreads through Belgrade, baffling its citizens. Microbiologist Pavle cannot pinpoint its source, but a childhood memory of a burning body resurfaces. A visit to the crematorium reveals that the constant stream of suicides keeps the ovens running nonstop, and the foul scent seems to push more people toward self‑destruction.
