What Is Avenger About?
The premise of Avenger without spoilers, adapted from Avenger by Frederick Forsyth.
After his daughter is killed in Panama (1994), Calvin Dexter leaves the CIA to become a fixer. Stephen Edmonds hires him to find son Ricky, vanished in Bosnia. Dexter learns Ricky was beaten and drowned by Serbian Zoran Zilic for helping children. Dexter offers revenge, but Paul Devereaux sends CIA troubleshooter Frank McBride to protect Zilic.
