Avan Ivan (2011): Cast, Box Office & Plot

Walter Vanangamudi [Vishal Krishna] and Kumbudren Saamy [Arya] are two half-brothers whose lives collide in a cycle of petty schemes and stubborn pride. They grow up under the shadow of the same family ties, yet their paths diverge in tone: one leans toward art and appearance, the other toward raw street-smart bravado. Both are nudged along by their mothers’ expectations—Walter by Maryamma [Ambika], who pushes him to keep their “family tradition” alive, and Saamy by the rough world he navigates with his brother. Despite their constant sparring and competing schemes, a deeper kinship threads through their rivalry, hinting at a bond that could outlast their quarrels.
