Ellie Harrison, a tall, self-described “geeky” junior-to-be, temporarily moves to Annapolis with her eccentric parents, two medieval history professors who are on sabbatical. In a nearby park she encounters a strikingly familiar teenage boy, Will Wagner, [Gregg Sulkin], who is clearly the center of attention at Avalon High. He’s there with his best friend Lance Reynolds, [Chris Tavarez], a confident football player, and Jennifer Gold, [Molly C. Quinn], the glamorous head cheerleader and Will’s girlfriend. This initial meeting sets the stage for a school year that blends romance, mystery, and a strange fate tied to Arthurian legend.
