What Is August About?

Summer arrives as recent high‑school graduate Aku faces a deep emptiness; his girlfriend, parents and friends all leave town, making the season seem dull. At a midsummer gathering he meets Juli, a beautiful, strange and wild girl who asks for a ride to eastern Finland. Aku agrees, with no idea what he's getting himself into, and sets off on a journey that will change his life.
