What Is At Death’s Door About?
The premise of At Death’s Door without spoilers.
Death mentors his son in the family trade of collecting souls. The young reaper succeeds until his first solo assignment—retrieving a crash victim—when a friend asks him to perform CPR. He complies, revives the man, and earns his father’s wrath. Given 24 hours to deliver a corpse, he targets the man he saved, a struggling actor named Tom, who is opening night and adored by the dramatic Sarah. The mission forces Junior to confront mortality and come of age as a reaper.
