What Is Antarctica About?
The premise of Antarctica without spoilers.
Set in the 1950s, a Japanese Antarctic research team stations at Showa Base with 19 sled dogs. After a year severe weather forces the team to evacuate, leaving the dogs behind. The following season a new crew arrives, and a dog handler miraculously reunites with two brother dogs, Taro and Shiro.
