The Lone Rangers push through a harsh Los Angeles landscape of indie grit and loud ambition as they try to break through the wall of rejection that greets their reel-to-reel demo. A trio of young musicians—the lead guitarist and two sibling partners in rhythm—live for the moment when a record producer will finally listen, yet each setback tightens their resolve rather than dulls it. After a fight with his girlfriend leaves the guitarist effectively kicked out of his home, the band doubles down on their dream, convinced that their loud, earnest sound can topple the barriers standing between them and a real break.
