What Is Airborne About?

During a severe snowstorm, a flight departs with a full passenger manifest. Soon after takeoff, the pilots are found dead, leaving the plane with no one to fly it. The remaining passengers find themselves in a terrifying situation, desperately hoping for a safe landing as the situation worsens and the number of survivors decreases.

On a winter-storm-lashed night, an almost-empty airliner lifts off from London bound for New York. Inside, Malcolm [Mark Hamill] notices the plane begin to drift off its intended course, and one by one the passengers seem to disappear, as if pulled from the cabin without a trace. It doesn’t take long for the grim truth to reveal itself: the pilots are dead, the plane is on autopilot, and two hijackers have used force to seize control. The passengers who witnessed the hijacking are killed, their fate sealed to prevent word of the crime from spreading.
