Aikatsu! The Movie 2014

After a successful live performance, the school headmistress Orihime Mitsuishi asks Ichigo Hoshimiya and her friends to stage a special backstage event: the “Ichigo Hoshimiya Super Live.” Following the press conference, Akari Oozora volunteers to help with the planning, and [Ichigo Hoshimiya] asks Naoto Suzukawa to write a song, though he declines and suggests Kanon, a local singer-songwriter, who soon bonds with the group over a playful strawberry parfait.

That night, Mizuki Kanzaki reaches out to Ichigo with news from a stadium: she plans to quit idol life. The revelation sows a mix of disappointment and resolve among the girls as they push ahead with the preparations. Kanon arrives with the finished song, and Ichigo suddenly realizes that the piece should carry meaning beyond mere fan service; it should help Mizuki find a reason to stay as an idol.

During the live event, trouble arises when [Ichigo Hoshimiya]’s crystal mic is stolen by the Swallow Thieves. Shion Kamiya helps recover the mic just in time, and the team continues with the performance. At the same moment, Kaede Ichinose, Sakura Kitaooji, and Yurika Toudou work to retrieve the premium cards, while [Akari Oozora] continues to support the effort by locating Mizuki after searching fourteen places.

As the show unfolds, Mizuki is invited to join the performance, and the moment becomes a turning point for her decision. The ensemble carries through the numbers, and the camaraderie among the girls strengthens the message of perseverance and friendship. When the final notes linger in the air, Mizuki reveals her decision to continue as an idol, inspired by the support of her friends and the encouragement she received from Ichigo and the team. As a small but meaningful gesture of gratitude, Ichigo passes her crystal mic to Akari Oozora, acknowledging Akari’s crucial role in bringing everyone together.
