The tension between tradition and progress quietly threads through his decision, weighing memories against money.

Meanwhile, his daughter Yasmin Bilkis Sathi Ruba returns from the United States with her six-year-old son, having endured abuse from her husband. Hearing about the demolition proposal from her father, she opposes it with fierce resolve, determined to protect the space that holds her past and her child’s future. Her homecoming reopens old wounds while reigniting a stubborn commitment to stay rooted in the place she once left.
