What Is Again About?

The premise of Again without spoilers.

Following the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, Mie discovers a bundle of old, unsent New Year's cards. Intrigued, she seeks answers from Haruhiko Sakacho, a former high school baseball teammate of her father. Through Haruhiko, Mie connects with her father’s old baseball team and organizes a reunion tournament, the Masters Koshien. As they prepare for the competition, Mie uncovers a hidden truth about her father and his time on the team, leading to a poignant exploration of loss, memory, and second chances.
