Two identical twins are born to a poor woman, and a nurse along with an elderly grieving grandmother secretly swap one baby with her stillborn grandchild, believing the move will spare both families pain and give each child a chance at life. The twins grow up in starkly different worlds: Narasimha N.T. Rama Rao Jr. in a rough urban setting becomes a fearless, street-smart undercover cop who fights for justice and dreams of one day wearing the badge; his brother Chari N.T. Rama Rao Jr. is raised by a traditional Brahmin family and becomes a gentle, devout priest who works without pay under his eccentric guru Bhattacharya Brahmanandam to repay a family debt. Chari’s life is shaped by the guidance of his adoptive mother Rajyalakshmi and his adoptive grandmother Vatsala Rajagopal, while Narasimha’s world is defined by grit, quick wits, and a strong sense of justice.
Bhattacharya is secretly in love with Chandrakala Nayanthara, a young woman whom he aids with money in the hope she will marry him. Unaware of his true feelings, Chandrakala relies on his support to survive, and Bhattacharya’s plan to win her heart leads Chari to become involved in the scheme; together they take her to a pub, but when goons harass her, Bhattacharya flees. Narasimha arrives at the same pub with his girlfriend Nandu Sheela Kaur and drives off the attackers. Chandrakala mistakes Narasimha for Chari and falls for his bold, brave persona.
Meanwhile, a terrorist group led by Dhanraj Ashish Vidhyarthi hunts down a famous army scientist who is the twins’ biological father. They kidnap Narasimha to pressure his father into building a deadly weapon. In Narasimha’s absence, the gang discovers Chari and, mistaking him for Narasimha, offers a large sum to impersonate the missing man. Desperate for money, Chari agrees but soon finds himself caught in a dangerous game far beyond his experience. The stakes rise as the brothers’ paths converge and the truth about their origins begins to surface.
Narasimha manages a daring escape, learns of the impersonation plot, and the brothers finally come face to face. The truth about their origins is revealed, their father Nassar is found, and the twins join forces to defeat the terrorists, rescue their father, and destroy the device. In the end, the family is reunited, with Narasimha earning respect as a true hero and Chari discovering love and purpose in his own path, alongside Chandrakala and Nandu as they navigate a rebuilt life together.
