Aging NFL quarterback Dan Anderson, David Alan Grier, and his stay-at-home wife Sara Anderson, Vivica A. Fox, are quietly unraveling at home. Their preteen kids, Clark and Annette, see right through the tension that has grown between their parents, each convinced the other underappreciates their role in the family. When Dan lands a new position with the Saints, the family moves to New Orleans and buys a dilapidated mansion that feels more like a symbol of their crumbling marriage than a fresh start. Immediately, the house seems to magnify their quarrels, and the climate inside their walls grows steadily tenser, turning every argument into a louder, more pointed failure to connect.
