Attorney Tanya McQueen enlists a team of anthropologists to locate an ancient artifact that could prevent the construction of a shopping mall in Kaua’i’s Hemolele Forest. Led by Helen and Demetri, the team includes grad students Zander and Hermione, and is observed by Omaka, a Hawaiian kahuna, and his playful assistant, Puka. Hoping to spark a romance between Helen and Demetri, Puka accidentally administers a special flower’s nectar to Zander, causing comical confusion. His attempts to correct the mistake and involve others lead to unexpected and humorous results, ultimately celebrating the power of love.
