The story

What Is A Game Without Rules About?

The premise of A Game Without Rules without spoilers.

A robbery at a Prague jewellery shop injures deputy Litera. The thieves steal the jewels, hide them in a forest, then split: Burian drives away alone; Duda and Hovorka flee together, crash; Hovorka dies and Duda hides. Burian is arrested; a police dog tracks Duda, who confesses but refuses to reveal the loot. Málek kills Duda in self‑defence. Only Burian is convicted, leaving Litera cleared. Disillusioned, Málek quits the police and becomes a cab driver.
