Liza, a dedicated recent graduate in Law and Information Technology, is poised to begin her career with the FBI. However, her aspirations take a tragic turn on the day of her graduation. While celebrating with her parents, their car is struck by a truck, resulting in the loss of her parents and leaving Liza paralyzed from the waist down. Now, eighteen months later, Liza faces the harsh reality of living alone, grappling with intense feelings of survivor’s guilt and depression. Her primary connection to the outside world comes through her sessions with Jeff, her physical therapist, who works with her to enhance her physical mobility and mental health.

Feeling isolated and emotionally disconnected, Liza finds herself spending countless hours online, engaging with vloggers on a local platform. This activity serves as her means of coping, allowing her to express her frustrations anonymously. One fateful night, while browsing, she stumbles upon a chilling live stream where a man heinously sets a dog on fire. Shocked by what she witnesses, Liza promptly reports the incident to the authorities, but her concerns are quickly dismissed by Detective Tim Boyle, who downplays the occurrence as a mere misdemeanor, primarily due to the absence of substantial evidence since the perpetrator has since deleted their account.

Refusing to let the matter rest, Liza continues her surveillance of the website, which soon gives rise to an even darker reality; she encounters a series of videos depicting brutal murders that mirror the infamous tactics used by notorious serial killers. In one particularly disturbing recording, she sees a victim murdered with a power drill, a moment so haunting that Liza manages to capture it on her device. Acknowledging the seriousness of the situation, Detective Boyle decides to enlist the help of retired FBI Agent Larry Thurgood to lend additional expertise to the investigation.

As they delve deeper into the case, Liza finds herself becoming more involved, leveraging her technical skills to scrutinize the grim videos. During her analysis, she discovers a fleeting reflection of the killer’s face on the blade of a knife featured in one of these recordings. This critical clue paves the way for identifying the murderer. Yet, this breakthrough comes with dire consequences, as the killer becomes aware of Liza’s involvement and begins to target her as his next victim.

Now, confined to her wheelchair, Liza must summon every ounce of her intellect and resolve to navigate this perilous situation and fight for her survival.
