Wayne Pére

Wayne Péré, sometimes recognized as Wayne Pére or Wayne Pere, is an esteemed American character actor with notable versatility in his roles. Born on March 23, 1965, he hails from Houma, Louisiana and is the youngest sibling of his two brothers. His early inclination led him to explore the career of a commercial diver in Houston, which after a while he found tedious and resigned. Following his brothers, he pursued his education at Louisiana State University. Encountering acting almost 'by accident' during the selection of speech-related courses, he developed an exciting interest in this art form, hence marking a significant shift in his career.

Post graduation, Wayne starred in several projects, one of them being Galaxy Quest, where he met Sam Rockwell when he was yet to become renowned. His acting skills were also displayed in various popular series including Northern Exposure, Ghost Whisperer and Nip/Tuck, and he was in the main cast of the short-lived series Dead Last. His acting journey persisted with appearances in shows like Underground and movies such as The Big Short, Trumbo and Free State of Jones. Péré was also part of Marvel's Cloak & Dagger playing Peter Scarborough, shared screen with Tom Hardy and Riz Ahmed in Venom, and made notable appearances in HBO's Tracey Takes On..., Watchmen, and the films Trial by Fire and Capone.
