Tom Holland

English actor Thomas Stanley Holland was born on 1 June 1996 in London, England. Having won numerous accolades including a BAFTA Award and three Saturn Awards, he is known as one of the most popular actors of his generation. Holland stepped into the world of performing arts at the tender age of nine when he enrolled in a dancing class. Impressed by his talent, a choreographer arranged for his audition for a role in Billy Elliot the Musical. Following two years of training, he played a supporting part and later upgraded to the title role, which marked a significant stepping stone in his career. Holland gained critical acclaim for his role in The Impossible (2012), a disaster drama that laid the foundation for his acting journey.

Holland notably portrays Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). His international recognition skyrocketed with six MCU superhero films, beginning with Captain America: Civil War (2016). He received the BAFTA Rising Star Award the following year and became the youngest actor to play a title role in an MCU film in Spider-Man: Homecoming. His two sequels, Far From Home (2019) and No Way Home (2021), grossed more than 1 billion each at the global box-office. Apart from action roles, he also played against-type roles in crime dramas like The Devil All the Time (2020) and Cherry (2021). While continuing with his acting journey, Holland has also directed a short film and voiced roles in animated features.
