McInnerny has continued to make impactful appearances in various TV series upgrading his resume with appearances in Law & Order: UK (2011) and the fan-favorite HBO series Game of Thrones in 2016.

In 1985, he shared the stage with Anthony Hopkins in Pravda, and in 2007, he played Iago in Othello at Shakespeare's Globe in London. McInnerny also has ties to the music scene, co-starring in the music video for Kate Bush's song 'This Woman's Work' in 1989 and appearing in the Westlife video for 'Uptown Girl'.
