Nina Dobrev, born as Nikolina Kamenova Dobreva, is a globally recognized Canadian actress, known for her compelling performances as Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce in the CW's supernatural drama series, The Vampire Diaries (2009–2015). Dobrev initiated her acting career through various minor roles before gaining widespread fame as Mia Jones in Degrassi: The Next Generation (2006–2009). Her spotlight continued to shine bright with her appearance in several movies, such as the 2012 coming-of-age drama The Perks of Being a Wallflower and the comedies Let's Be Cops, The Final Girls, and more.
