Lesley Ann Warren, born on August 16, 1946, is a widely recognized American actress, singer and dancer. She kickstarted her career with a Broadway debut in the musical '110 in the Shade' in 1963. Around that time, she drew significant attention for playing the title role in the television musical production of Cinderella. Soon, she had starring roles in the Disney musical films 'The Happiest Millionaire' and 'The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band'. During the 1970s, Warren mainly worked on television, earning a Golden Globe nomination for playing Dana Lambert in the CBS drama series 'Mission Impossible'. In the 1980s, she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Norma Cassidy in Victor/Victoria. Besides this, her impactful performances in 'Songwriter' and 'Family of Spies' earned her two additional Golden Globe nominations.

Warren's early life was marked with a staunch inclination towards performing arts. Born in Manhattan, New York City, she embarked on this journey at the age of six by joining the Professional Children's School and later the High School of Music & Art at 13. She began training as a ballet dancer at 14 and entered the School of American Ballet in 1961. Two years later, she entered the Actors Studio and went on to taste significant success through various podiums of acting, be it television, Broadway, or films. During her active years, she never shied away from exploring different genres, including suspense-action-thrillers, romantic dramas, comedies, independent films and even superheroes series.
