Goddard Bolt, the relentless CEO of Bolt Enterprises, is a man fueled by an unyielding desire for power, willing to disregard the needs of others and the environment around him. His eyes are set on the severely neglected slums of Los Angeles, ready to bulldoze through them without a moment’s hesitation. In a shocking display of overconfidence, Bolt engages in a high-stakes wager with his adversary, Vance Crasswell, who is equally eager to claim the property for himself. The terms of their bet are unforgiving: if Bolt loses, Crasswell seizes ownership; if he wins, Crasswell must sell the land for a meager sum.
